Media training

An honest answer is not enough

An interview is a strategic opportunity for your organisation.

FRIDAY equips spokespersons to seize that opportunity and engage on equal terms with the journalist in the interview situation. Together, we develop clear messages that are not only true and easy to understand, but also serve your organisation’s agenda.

In recent years, FRIDAY has media-trained spokespersons from half of the companies in the C25 index – as well as a wide range of agencies, municipalities and public organisations.

How FRIDAY delivers media training

FRIDAY has media-trained more than 1,000 top executives, leaders and specialists to deliver strong, strategic messages under pressure.
We combine:
  • Briefings on the role of the spokesperson and journalists’ working methods.
  • Techniques for effective preparation and handling of the interview situation itself.
  • Interview training that reflects the reality you face as a spokesperson.
There is no gap between the media training and spokespersons’ day-to-day work. What you learn in the training is exactly what you need to do once the training is over.

FRIDAY’s approach to media training

Insight
We provide you with a clear picture of the spokesperson role and help you recognise your strengths and weaknesses.

Realism
Message development and interview training are based on topics that there is a genuine chance the media will take an interest in.

Adaptation
The training is tailored to your experience – whether you are a new or seasoned spokesperson.

Psychological safety
The media training takes place in a safe learning environment where you are challenged, make mistakes, receive feedback and try again.

Feedback
You receive constructive feedback so that your messages, structure and delivery all point in the same direction.
