Whether you are speaking to journalists, delivering an important presentation or cutting through the noise with stakeholders, it takes training to deliver strategic messages that serve your organisation’s agenda.

FRIDAY’s communication training is based on theory, techniques and realistic exercises. We have some of the country’s most skilled communication trainers with solid experience behind them. They create a safe space where you are challenged regardless of level and make significant progress—in a short time.

FRIDAY trains both individuals and teams. We specialise, among other things, in …

Media training

An interview is a strategic opportunity for your organisation.

FRIDAY equips spokespersons to get the most out of the interview situation and engage with the journalist on equal terms. Together, we develop clear, strategic messages that are not only true and easy to understand, but also serve your organisation’s agenda.

How FRIDAY conducts media training
FRIDAY has media-trained more than 1,000 CEOs, executives and specialists to deliver strong, strategic messages under pressure.

We combine:

  • Theory on the role of the spokesperson and journalists’ working methods.
  • Techniques for effective preparation and handling journalists’ questions.
  • Interview training that reflects the reality you face as a spokesperson.

There is no translation from the media training to your day-to-day work as a spokesperson. What you learn in the training is exactly what you need to do when it is over.

Message training

Short, clear and targeted communication is crucial for others to listen and remember your messages. FRIDAY’s message training sharpens your ability to develop and deliver strategic messages to audiences that matter in your professional role.

The message training equips you to:

  • Capture your target audience’s attention.
  • Develop strategic messages that stick in the memory.
  • Deliver the messages convincingly in a short time.

We train both small and large groups, and we promise to move all participants significantly in just half a day.

How message training works
The programme is tailored to each organisation. It typically consists of:

  • Theory on the professional communicator’s challenges
  • Theory on message development
  • Exercise: Developing targeted messages
  • Exercise: Present your message in 60 seconds
  • Wrap-up and feedback

All participants receive honest, constructive feedback on structure, content and delivery.

Debate training

Whether you are taking part in a public debate or discussing a decision in your department, it requires preparation, structure and the right tools.

FRIDAY’s debate training gives you both an overview and practical tools to articulate your messages clearly—and respond confidently when the other party puts you under pressure. We work with techniques to identify, formulate and deliver arguments that work.

You will learn to make your points human, so you are not only speaking to the audience’s brains, but also to their hearts and guts.

How the training works
FRIDAY’s debate training blends theory and practical exercises.

The debate training typically includes:

  • Developing clear, convincing arguments
  • Training in responding sharply and factually under pressure
  • Simulations of realistic debate situations
  • Rhetorical techniques, voice and body language

You receive constructive feedback on structure, content and delivery, and you are more than welcome to bring your internal advisers to the training.

1:1 programme

An individual communication training programme at FRIDAY strengthens you as a professional communicator with knowledge, tools and exercises, so you can use speech and writing as a strategic tool.

We work with cases and challenges from your reality, so the learning sticks and can be used in meetings, presentations, interviews and leadership.

How we work
1:1 programmes at FRIDAY begin by clarifying your needs, goals and work tasks. Based on that, we tailor a programme that delivers on your development areas.

The programme is an excellent opportunity to prepare important meetings, presentations or conversations you have ahead of you.

Service and conflict management

When citizens are under pressure, it requires structured, concise, empathetic and authoritative communication. At FRIDAY, we specialise in training in service and conflict management. Over the years, we have trained nurses, lawyers, doctors, train staff, caseworkers and many other professional groups, all with one thing in common: they meet citizens when they are under the greatest pressure.

We combine:

  • Theory, which provides perspective on your own role.
  • Techniques and tools for effective, structured communication.
  • Training that mirrors the employee’s reality. This makes it possible to practise the most difficult moments in working life in a way that gives both the employee and the manager peace of mind.

There is no translation from the communication training to your daily meetings with citizens. What you learn in the training is exactly what you need to do when everyday life sets in.
