VERKA COLLECTIVE

Architecture at the heart of a new, strong company

Verka Collective is a new major player on the Danish and European architecture scene. Backed by the German private equity fund FINDOS, Verka Collective aims to put architects back in the driver’s seat in an industry where more and more architects are adapting to the need for larger, stronger entities by being acquired by engineering firms.

The company operates as a collective of businesses, each with its own distinct profile, while sharing a common umbrella in the form of executive management, finance, IT, development, etc. So far, the collective includes the Danish architecture firms Vilhem Lauritzen, Sted By og Landskab, Kjær & Richter, as well as the German firm Heine Plan. More acquisition candidates are in the pipeline, and the plan is to reach 1,000 employees by the end of 2028.

FRIDAY has supported the work with the brand platform, core narrative, naming process, communication strategy, visual identity, website, and press launch. This builds on our extensive experience in the architecture and design industry, including work for Dorte Mandrup A/S, Danske Arkitektvirksomheder, Creative Denmark, Montana Furniture, and others.
