August Berg creates watches designed to inspire and remind us to make conscious choices with our time. We visited their designer Magnus Jørgensen’s workshop to speak with him about his craft and his work for August Berg. Magnus is known for his clean, minimalist aesthetic and is trained as an instrument maker and industrial designer, with a career spanning more than 25 years. When you need to be mindful of your time, it can be a good idea to begin your creations with a strong concept and a sketch on a notepad—we do that when we create films—and Magnus does the same when he creates watches.
