For a number of years, we have been part of Roskilde Festival’s crisis preparedness team—standing ready behind the scenes and stepping in when there has been a need for clear communication to the festival’s guests. Communicating important messages from the stage in situations where the technology fails, concerts are postponed/cancelled, or when general important information needs to be conveyed. Over the years, the festival’s staff have received ongoing media training and crisis advisory support, all of which has helped strengthen Roskilde Festival’s communications crisis preparedness.
