At FRIDAY, we are proud to have developed the latest version of the Kemiluppen app, which is installed on more than 200,000 smartphones. The app is published by the Consumer Council Tænk and, by scanning a barcode, it can determine in one second whether there are undesirable chemicals in cosmetics, skincare products, detergents, and cleaning products.

We built Kemiluppen from scratch with a completely new codebase. And we were smart enough to develop the app as a hybrid app using Capacitor, so the codebase can be used for both iOS and Android. That saves us time and the customer money—and we can all be pleased about that, since the app is funded through the Finance Act.
